Medical School Sheffield. 3 years with British Antarctic Survey. Postgrad training in Newcastle and Sunderland. Trauma fellowship Seattle. 32 years as a Consultant on Trauma Service in Oxford. Past President of BOA, OTS and AOUK&I.

I stopped fixing broken people last year, in addition to GIRFT work I now mend broken toys for grandchildren.

Why do you want to be a mentor and what can you offer a mentee?

Good question. It was suggested that I might participate in this pilot. My whole career seems to have based on pursuing opportunities rather than having a grand strategic plan. This is an opportunity and so I am pursing it. I will answer the question again after the pilot when with luck I will have an answer with substance.
