Bone Defect and Infection Course

This cadaveric course will look into the management of patients with bone defect secondary to either acute bone loss or secondary to debridement due to infection/non-union. Techniques of bone regeneration will be presented with emphasis on the induced membrane technique (Masquelet Technique) and bone transport. In addition, the latest principles governing the diagnosis and treatment of fracture related infection will be covered.
