At the OSSB, The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh discussed the possibility of increasing the number of orthopaedic specific courses to their portfolio.
One item which was brought to the agenda was the lack of biomechanics specific courses directed at orthopaedic trainees. It was discussed the possibility of badging a new course which has already been run for one year. This is a not for profit course. The Scottish BOTA representative will look towards creating a business plan and bringing the proposal forwards.
