National Surgical Consent Audit 2017
An interesting audit designed to look at consent. Since the Montgomery ruling in 2015, the purpose of this audit is to establish whether surgical practice is keeping up with the recent changes in UK law.
The audit consists of a survey assessing local surgical consent practice and people’s understanding of the Montgomery ruling. It is targeted at all levels of trainee from FY1 to post-CCT fellows.
