GOAST stands for studying the effect of Gender on Operative Autonomy in Surgical Training, and is looking to be the first UK wide study of the impact on gender on autonomy in orthopaedic training.
GOAST is the first National Collaborative to involve all UK Orthopaedic trainees and newly qualified consultants as collaborators. The project aims to look at the effect of Gender on Operative Autonomy in Surgical Training.
