The NCTU are offering a free, online, half day course, to help develop research ideas into fundable research applications, taking place on the 6th May 9:00 - 13:00.

Course description: Randomised clinical trials use robust methodology to ensure that drugs, devices, and other interventions are subject to a fair test of their effectiveness. Before designing a clinical trial, it may be necessary to complete preliminary feasibility research to assess whether a clinical trial is needed and to ensure the most appropriate design to address the research question.
Course delivery: Online; mix of live talks, small group work, Q&A.
Course content: Working with a CTU; defining your research question; feasibility; PPI; NIHR funding programmes. Whatever stage your research idea is at, this half-day course aims to help you chart a pathway to developing a randomised trial, including applying for suitable research funding.
