In association with the Wrightington Hospital, every Sunday evening from the 31st May 2020, a consultant-led session will take place, with short lectures, slide spotter shows and some live virtual viva’s to help prepare for Orthopaedic examinations.
This is a fantastic learning opportunity with nationally and internationally recognised surgeons giving their expertise and knowledge on key FRCS topics.
The first session features
Matthew Ricks (Consultant Upper Limb Surgeon @Wrightington) His interests lie in trauma and will guide us through with decision making for distal radius fractures. Chye Yew Ng (Consultant Hand and Peripheral Nerve Surgeon @Wrightington) Cy brings a wealth of experience in peripheral nerves and will give an overview of the brachial plexus and how to get through the exam Mike Hayton (Consultant Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon @Wrightington) Mike will talk on OA at the base of thumb and the management options involved to help in a viva setting To register for the talks, click here
