BOTA and ASiT survey press release
Reported on 04/11/2009 16:00 by Benjamin Caesar

Congratulations to all of you who filled in the survey. We had over 500 orthopaedic responders in the end, which is a great response in any survey, and over 1800 trainees had logged on across all specialities.

The results are as we suspected and we now have the ammunition to continue the campaign to get EWTR reviewed and hopefully retracted.

We have proposals in place that will allow for a sensible working week with good training opportunities, continuity of care for patients, and reasonable work/life balance. We will keep you all updated with how things progress.

The press release is attached to this document and can be freely circulated around your colleagues. It has formed the core of an article in the Telegraph today that has been published online, and will receive more media attention over the next few days.
