The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, British Volume, has launched a new essay competition which should be of interest to BOTA members. This competition honours the work of Frank Horan, Editor Emeritus of JBJS (Br), and is a fantastic opportunity for orthopaedic trainees.
All entries will be reviewed by our Editor, James Scott, and Frank Horan himself, and the winning submission will be published in JBJS (Br). There will also be a small financial award for the winner.
The essay competition is open to all orthopaedic trainees worldwide and will be awarded annually. The 2009 competition is now open and will close on 31st December 2009. Please see the attached file for further details.
