Course Objectives:

  • This interactive two-day course focuses on preparing delegates for the viva (oral) component of the FRCS (Orth) in a friendly atmosphere. Delegates will work through a range of techniques to improve both oral skills and orthopaedic clinical examination skills.

Course Content:

  • Introduction to the FRCS (Orth) examination
  • Negotiating the requirements of the course
  • Clinical examination session – history taking
  • Introduction to positive critiquing
