Join us in January 2018 for the six-day Miller UK FRCS Orthopaedic Review Course, consisting of an intensive and comprehensive four-day lecture and seminar review course based on the globally renowned Miller’s Review of Orthopaedics textbook, and a two-day Clinical Examination and Viva course.

The course will focus on all essential and examinable aspects of Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery in the context of the FRCS (Tr & Orth).

You will also have the opportunity to hone your examination skills with numerous real patients, displaying a range of pathologies.

See our website for a detailed Course Programme.

We are the only Orthopaedic FRCS Revision Course to offer a free return place if you are unsuccessful in the FRCS (Tr & Orth) examination.

New additions to this year’s course include:

  1. The opportunity to be assessed formally in a similar manner to the real FRCS examination by members of our faculty during the Clinical Examination course. You will be provided with immediate written feedback highlighting areas for improvement.
  2. Examination of patients in the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, a purpose-built, state-of-the-art orthopaedic hospital close to the city centre.
  3. An evening tour of the historic city and colleges of the University of Oxford.

Our courses have a proud tradition of always being sold out, attended by orthopaedic trainees from a variety of countries. If you wish to take part, please do not hesitate to register.

Don’t just take our word for it, here are some of the comments from delegates who have attended our most recent courses:

“Thank you for organising all those patients to attend, it was fantastic to be able to examine them with feedback from the faculty. The faculty were great – really supportive, finding lots of positives to say and keep our confidence up as well as highlighting areas for further revision!” (October, 2017)

“Excellent course, definitely I will inform my other colleagues to attend it.” (October, 2017)

“Thank you for a brilliant course. The lecture sections were excellent and in particular the Orthopaedic Oncology sessions which have really helped clarify a lot of concerns I have in managing bony lesions. ” (January, 2017)

“Amazing course. The Clinical & Viva sessions were amazing. It was great to see how others handled the stations too. I will be coming back regularly and using Miller UK to refresh my knowledge annually.” (January, 2017)
